Avocados are among most popular fruits, not only because they are very healthy, but also because can be used in a wide variety of recipes, from sandwiches and salads, to ice cream, burgers or even cakes. Guacamole is the most popular avocado preparation, which works great both as a snack and as an entree before a hearty meal.

  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice

How to Prepare

In a bowl combine the onion, chilli, coriander, salt and pepper. With a fork, mix all these ingredients. Add avocado and lime juice and pass until the ingredients become a paste.

Spaghetti with avocado pesto

The combination of spaghetti and pesto is already a classic. But when pesto contains avocado, you get an even more delicious and healthy preparation.


  • salt
  • 450g spaghetti
  • 1 avocado
  • 240g fresh basil
  • 80ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 30g pine nuts, fried
  • 30g parmesan race
  • 120g cherry tomatoes, halved

How to Prepare

Boil the pasta until it is ready , drain it and keep it in a bowl.

Meanwhile, put in the kitchen robot avocado, basil, olive oil, pine buds, parmesan and mix until it becomes creamy.

Combine the pasta with pesto and half of the water kept from the spaghetti and mix gently. Add the tomatoes and mix so that the pasta is covered with pesto. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan.

Salad with mango, avocado and pasta

This pasta salad recipe is a healthier and fresher option, in which avocado and mango combine excellent. Moreover, this recipe can also be made gluten free.


  • 2 or 3 mangoes, peel and cut into pieces
  • 2 or 3 avocados, peel and cut into pieces
  • 30 grams of pine nuts, fried
  • 200 grams of pasta

Ingredients for dressing:

  • 120g coriander + extra for salad
  • ½ peppers, without seeds
  • 3 lime or 80 ml lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 60 ml of olive oil

How to Prepare

Put the pasta to a boil, feathers or butterflies, and in all this time combine in the kitchen robot the ingredients for the dressing of lemon and coriander and mix them until the dressing becomes creamy.

Then add avocado, mango, remaining dressing, fresh cilantro and mix again. Finally, add pine buds and serve.

Avocado Toast

Probably the simplest recipe on this list, avocado toast has become one of the most beloved snacks. To get the most delicious avocado toast you have to keep two secrets: rub a little garlic on the toast for more flavor and add a little salt at the end.


  • 1 avocado, peeled and cut in half
  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or unsalted butter, melted

How to Prepare

Pass the avocado with the fork in a shallow bowl until it becomes a paste. Add some table salt and pepper. Roast the bread, rub it on one side with garlic, oil it and season with salt and pepper. Add the avocado paste and at the end season with a little salt and chilli flakes.

If you want to get even more creative with your snack, you can add over fried avocado paste, fried bacon and goat cheese, or tomato and basil leaves.
